Why some people shouldn't be deans

I am writing this entry in response to the Washington Post article, "Why Race Matters in School Admissions", and what my opinions are about this article and the authors. To summarize this article, the dean of Yale Law School and Harvard Law School talk about and state that they should be able to, and I believe they already do (I didn't quite understand if they wanted to do this or if it was already happening) was partially base their incoming students based on race.
   They gave the reason of, to sum it up, that some racial backgrounds could affect your life more than others. They didn't go much into detail about that, so I'm not quite understanding what they're getting at. I mean sure they know what race you are when they see your admission entry but just because you're an uncommon race (or common, they didn't explain that either) doesn't mean that you should have any less of a chance than everyone else. What's the worse case scenario of a bad background based on race? In my opinion, that's a very large generalization and stereotype, assuming one race has had more problems and wrong influences than the rest. That's a very low way of thinking, especially with such high standard schools.
We're not stuck in 1750, people, we don't need any more racial segregation. Thank you

Personal text response- I felt no connections with this book. Although you may count that I have very good friends, that is it. Never have I heard of 2 men going into the forest for 3 says and slaying a demon for nothing,and I personally don't like the book. I still felt as if they were rushing through it. I also didn't understamt much of itk read.,but it was an ok book

Gilgamesh: The first and worst text ever written

I have a few questions about Gilgamesh. First, what was Huwawa doing so horribly? They said he was a demon, but they didn't say why... as long as you stayed away from him, my guess is that he wouldn't bother you. This reminded me of the movie Battleship, when the aliens first revealed their ships, they were peaceful up until when the navy attacked them. Maybe they were there for a good cause, but they were not given a chance. And since it said he was the guardian of the forest, the forest may be vulnerable now.
     Second, is that all they're going to do? Are they ever going to go on another journey? Was that the big climax of the book? Because that was not exciting, at all. I'm just going to think that because this was the first text ever written, but they could have done a better job, plot, and detail-wise. This book is genuinely the most boring one I've ever read. The supposedly exciting, action packed parts did not have me off my seat. The fighting scenes, (and all of the scenes in general) lasted like, one sentence and didn't explain or describe squat.
     Also, is Enkidu jealous of Gilgamesh? It seems like it. Gilgamesh seems so proud, full, and sure of himself, while Enkidu is solely worshiping and complimenting Gilgamesh. What's backwards about that, is that Enkidu seems to be doing all of the work and yet he is receiving zero credit for any of his work, while Gilgamesh basks in the glory that is not rightfully his.
      I am skeptical about this book as it doesn't explain things thoroughly, and I am a very visual person so it's rather hard to make out what is happening.

1. Fenrir is either a monster or something who will save the sun and moon.
2. Skoll and Hati are giant animals.
3.Fenrir is the animal in the middle.
